HOW TO CREATE THE UNTAMED LOOK

Annoushka is one of our City Angels who accompanies us through the springtime and presents our latest collection UNTAMED. We were inspired by the late twenties and their sultry atmosphere, which we captured in her mysterious eyes and lusciously plump lips. They form the centre of the look, and are paired with a natural, flawless complexion to effortlessly evoke sophistication.
You can recreate the look UNTAMED with our smooth skin care and complexion products, dark Long-lasting Eye Shadow palette, and rich burgundy Colour Burst Lipstick.
Face
Anoint yourself with our Anti-ageing Moisturiser and Aqua Primer for an even, fresh and dewy appearance.
The medium tawny beige 'Hazelnut Milk Parfait' (Liquid Foundation) mixed with a drop of our Bronzing Glow Liquid will wake up your skin with a halo of warmth and can add subtle golden highlights. Apply the mixture slightly with your fingertips or take our Foundation Brush (# 009). Foundation is best applied with a brush as this ensures an even and professional finish. Use light up-and-down strokes on the cheeks to give a natural look.
'Alula', the yellow-based Luminous Skin Wand, can be blended on the nose, under the eyes, and over any imperfections. Apply 'Alula' with the brush applicator directly onto the skin, using small dots. Blend evenly with the RBR Concealer Brush (# 004).
A hint of Flawless Face Powder 'Adagio' will give your skin a natural, velvety appearance and smooth finish. Use the RBR Powder Brush (# 001) and sweep the powder downwards and outwards over your face.
For the first touch of spring sun on your skin, use our Bronzing Glow Powder 'at Netherway Cove': the satin-finish and natural coral-brown tone can blush your cheeks lightly with our Blusher Brush (# 002), or contour your face with the RBR Face Contour Brush (# 012).
Eyes
For the fierce, dark eyes look, combine different colours of brown and black and add a touch of golden glow. We recommend starting with the lightest colour of our four Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadows - 'Papyrus Canary' (a creamy beige), for the under brow area or as a base for the entire eye perfectly applied with our sponge applicator (Shader # 015). 'Angelic Cockatiels', one of our twenty Long-lasting Eye Shadows, is an excellent highlighting product for the inner corners, maintaining a honey-gold metallic-finish for eight hours. Dab a hint with our fingertip directly in the inner corner.
A combination of the two colours 'Abyssinian Catbird' and 'Volcano Fairy-wren' were used as the basis for Annoushka's smoky eyes. Use first the charcoal-dust black with silver accents 'Volcano Fairy-wren' followed by the metallic bronze 'Abyssinian Catbird' for the complete movable eyelid and frame the eye with the colours, too. Blend both eye shadows out- and upwards over the crease with our Large Shader (# 003).
To spread the overall glowing effect we used one of our five Loose Glitter Pigments 'Sleeping under a Mandarin Tree'. This iridescent golden dust, warmed with a hint of pale mandarin, was applied lightly with the RBR Crease Brush (# 011) over the complete eye make-up. The dome shape of the brush ensures that the Powder Eye Shadows will cling to the hairs and not drop onto your cheeks.
Our creamy soft Eye Kohl 'Salome' in black works ideally on the inner rim of your eyelids.
For evening intensity as Annoushka is wearing, the eyes can be underlined with the coquettish lustre of 'Tiger Eye Essence' Quartz Eyeliner. Before using the Quartz Eyeliner, shake well to wake all the ingredients up and distribute them evenly through the liquid base. For a perfect line, stretch the upper eyelid slightly and apply alone or over a pencil for added depth of colour.
Multi coats of our deep black Modelling Mascara 'Midnight' will elongate your lashes, and give volume and separation. For "cat eyes" apply our mascara several times on the outer lashes.
To perfect your look, and to give your eyes an ideal frame, apply to your brows 'Blackpepper Jay' (Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadow) with our Brows Brush (# 006).
Lips
Finish your swinging make-up with a generous amount of our deep claret maroon Colour Burst Lipstick 'Got Rid of the Man' perfectly applied with our Lips Brush (# 010).
